You will have noticed that this week I’ve wrote a lot about money saving tips for the over 60’s after becoming inspired by some great hints and tips from Money Saving Expert– Martin Lewis.

In a difficult climate I think that realistic help is wonderful and even better if we become a little better off.

Age UK's Tax Calculator Today, I’ve noticed that Age UK have also thought about saving for the elderly. Their latest addition is the Age UK Tax Calculator, which allows you to calculate how much tax you will pay this year, but also checks that previous payments you have made are correct.

The Age UK Tax calculator is really simple to use and your information won’t be saved or used anywhere else. Handily, if you do think that your payments aren’t correct appropriate links to services within HMRC are also attached.

Overall Age UK’s Tax Calculator is another great online tool, which it does all the hard work for you and could potentially save you money. It should be noted that you will need to have some documentation with you when completing the Tax Calculator (specifics are displayed on Age UK’s website) other than that it’s pretty simple.

Go ahead and calculate your tax, wouldn’t it be lovely to find out that you are entitled to some tax back!
