Day two of National Curry Week and I couldn’t think of a better dish to share than Chicken Tikka Masala. A great mild curry dish which is perfect when feeding guests- you never want to overpower someone with a super hot dish.

I’ve chosen this James Martin recipe because I really enjoy his quick and easy style of cooking. Not only is he a great chef but extremely charming to watch on Saturday Kitchen, which I tend to watch over a cup of tea whilst planning my weekend.

I hope you enjoy and please do let me know of your favourite curry dishes. Bon Appetite!

Wimbledon is well and truly underway. I am sure that many of you were happy to see Andy Murray cruise through to third round yesterday making him one step closer to the grand slam final.

Although the weather has been a little unpredictable, and the Wimbledon roof has had to be used. I thought that it would be great chance to share a lovely recipe that is perfect for Wimbledon celebrations- rain or shine.

Summertime Champers and Jelly is the ultimate in summer indulgence. I love to include summer fruits when I make this summer time treat; strawberries would be great, and of course very in tune with Wimbledon.

This charming recipe will go down perfectly at the Wimbledon final; I’ll be making a ‘practice’ portion this weekend too… Enjoy!

Happy Birthday Annette patchwork

We would like to say a huge Happy Birthday to Annette who is 60 today! Annette is currently celebrating her big day with close family and friends on holiday in Italy.

To celebrate the team at Bath-Knight, along with Annette’s daughter Lucy collected the favourite recipes of Annette’s family, friends and colleagues to make a special birthday recipe book, which we know Annette will love and treasure.

We thought it would be a great idea to share a small collection of recipes on the blog so that Annette’s blog readers can enjoy the recipes and share Annette’s celebrations too!

We are all going a little fruit smoothie mad today for ‘Go bananas- Fruity Friday’.

The charity day ran by World Cancer Research Fund is helping raise awareness of cancer prevention. There are plenty of ways to show your support from wearing yellow or even dressing up as a banana. Here at Bath-Knight we are making some delicious smoothies from fresh fruits, which are not only yummy but nutritious and a great way to stay healthy.

My ‘Go Bananas Smoothie’ is one of my favourites- I’d advise using really ripe bananas for extra taste and drinking straight away if possible.

Enjoy, and happy fruity Friday!
